Hallmark Parking Stansted – Terms and Conditions

1. Booking Confirmations

  1. Bookings made on our web site will be confirmed by email and will include our unique reference
  2. Bookings made by telephone will be confirmed by quoting you our unique booking reference. No other confirmation will be issued
  3. Bookings made by email will be confirmed by replying to your email quoting our unique booking reference

2. Cancelling A Booking

  1. Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the booking period commences will incur an administrative charge of £15.00
  2. There will be no refunds for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the booking period commences.
  3. If we refuse your vehicle because it is considered un-roadworthy, including expired tax or defective tyres, we will cancel the booking and there will be no refund.
  4. If you do not arrive within 20 minutes of the booked time and have not telephoned us to advise of a delay, we will cancel the booking and there will be no refund. An additional Meet and Greet charge may be levied to cover our aborted journey if you arrive after our driver has left the airport. In such case, there may be a delay in arranging for a driver to collect your vehicle and we cannot be held liable for any additional expenses or consequences such as, but not limited to, missed flights.

3. Prices and Payments

  1. The price quoted is in Pounds sterling and includes VAT at the prevailing rate.
  2. The price quoted is only valid at the time that the quote is requested.
  3. Once a booking is confirmed the price will not change and there will be no surcharges or refunds regardless of any future variation in our charges.
  4. Any price quoted will include a charge for the number of days or part days parking plus a fixed element for the Meet and Greet service and VAT.
  5. Payment can be made using a recognised Credit or Debit Card. Unfortunately, we cannot accept American Express or Diners Club. Cards will be charged at the time of making the booking. A small non-refundable surcharge for Credit or Debit Card payment will be included in the price quoted.
  6. We cannot take payment in cash or by cheque.

4. Refunds

  1. Where payment was made by credit or debit card a refund will be made to the same card

5. Changing the Duration of a Booking

  1. Bookings may be bought forward (you will be arriving sooner) provided you give us notice at least 24 hours before the booking period is to commence. If you arrive early there may be a delay in arranging for a driver to collect your vehicle and we cannot be held liable for any additional expenses or consequences such as, but not limited to, missed flights.
  2. Bookings may be put back (you will be arriving later) provided you give us at least 24 hours notice before the original booking period was to commence. If we do not get sufficient notice we reserve the right to charge you additional Meet and Greet and parking fees.
  3. Bookings may be extended (you will be parking longer) provided you give us notice at least 24 hours before the booking period is to commence and that this change is notified to us using the form on our web site or by email.
  4. Bookings may be truncated (you will be parking for a shorter period) provided you give us notice at least 24 hours before the booking period is to commence and that this change is notified to us using the form on our web site or by email.
  5. An additional charge will be payable where the booking period is extended and will be based on the daily parking rate at the time that the change is requested.
  6. Where a booking is truncated a refund for the unused parking days may be made to you. This will be calculated at the rate in force at the time the original booking was made.
  7. If you return early without giving us prior notice there may be a delay in arranging for a driver to return your vehicle to you and we cannot be held liable for any additional expenses, consequences or indirect losses such as, but not limited to, missed appointments.

6. Vehicle Condition

  1. Our driver will complete a vehicle condition report before driving your vehicle and this report will be retained for a minimum of 28 days.
  2. It is your responsibility to check your vehicle when it is returned to you and to report any alleged damage to our driver before driving away.

7. Complaints Procedure

  1. Any complaint must be in writing either by letter to Hallmark Parking Stansted, Hallmark House, Firbank Estate, Dallow Road, LUTON, LU1 1TW and must include receipts if applicable or by email to Hallmark Parking Stansted
  2. In the case of alleged vehicle damage, it must be reported in the first instance to our driver before you drive away and you must obtain a damage report from the driver. Two estimates for repairs are required and if the costs are above our insurance excess the repair will be handled by our insurance company.
  3. A complaint will be acknowledged within two working days of receiving it
  4. We will endeavour to resolve any complaint within 28 days and give our decision in writing.
  5. This Procedure and the Terms and Conditions do not affect your Statutory Rights

8. Exclusions and Responsibilities

  1. We accept no responsibility or liability for loss or damage covered by your own insurance.
  2. We accept no responsibility for personal property left in the vehicle including but not limited to monies, jewellery and other valuables.
  3. We accept no responsibility or liability for loss or damage to your vehicle arising from normal driving hazards, mechanical or electrical failure, punctures, self locking, pollution, natural disaster, terrorism, vandalism or other matters outside of our control.
  4. We accept no responsibility or liability for any indirect loss as a result of damage or loss to your vehicle such as but not limited to loss of earnings.
  5. We cannot be held responsible or liable for any delay in making your vehicle available to you if you arrive before the end of the booking period.
  6. You are responsible for arriving at Stansted Airport in good time including an allowance for our driver to complete the vehicle condition report. A recommendation of at least two hours before your flight departure time.
